Cheap Golf Holidays

What is it about golf that makes a grown man skip work to hit a small ball into a tiny hole?  Is it getting in touch with nature?  Is it spending time with friends and family?  Or is it just the challenge PIONT!!!!

I think it is all of the above.  Spending time to figure out how exactly to hit a golf ball at just the right angle and having it to either land directly in the hole or close by.  That is the magic of golf.  It tests your patience and every hole each and every time is a challenge.  You have to fight the wind, how the grass is cut for that particular day, is the grass wet or dry, it all comes into play for that perfect shot.

With such a great game, it is made even better when it is played with beautiful surrondings.  How about going to Hawaii and playing a few holes overlooking the ocean.  Having that wind blowing in your face with the fresh smell of the sea.  What a life!!!

Below are some of the beest cheap golf holidays available.  They include exotic islands that most people would not even think of going and some are common but they are just great vacations.

Golfing Europe - Asiago Golf Club

Have you ever thought about golfing in Europe.  Europe has some of the most exclusive golf courses in the world.  They are also some of the most attractive and breath taking sites you will ever see.  Most of the courses are high in the hills and are not accessible by car.  The only way to get to them is either on hourse back or by helicopter.  This makes them even more exclusive and only the rich usually visit these exclusive hideaways.

The Asiago golf club is one of these types of clubs.  Located in Italy it is considered one of the most exclusive moutain golf clubs in the world .  It has plenty of picture perfect mountain terraine with a eye full of rolling hills.

Originally constructed in 1960 is originally only had 9 holes and was designed by J. Harris.  In its inception that was adequit and became very popular around golfing circles.  But as time elasped it was suggested that 9 holes was not enough and soon after 9 more holes were added to the course by a well known designer Peter Harradin.  His designed concentrated on retaining the surrounding environment.  The result is a 18 hole course that not only allows you to reconnect with nature but also provides a very challenging course.

Walt Disney Golf Holdiay

Knock out two stones at one time with a vacation to Walt Disney World.  The Disney campus as changed significantly sinces its inception and visiting the Disney parks is not the only attractions to visit when visiting.  They have since added boat rides, shopping malls, and Golfing to their reasons to visit this exciting vacation spot.

Walt Disney World Resorts has put together five golf courses each with a level of play that is second to none.

Disney Palm - Rated 4 out of 5 by golf digest, this course is one of the most challenging courses of all Disney has to offer.  This course is situated in the natureal Florida wetlands with it natural lakes and tropical sand.

Disney Magnolia - This is were the pros come to play and is the frequent home of the PGA tour.  If you can conquor this course you can conquor them all.

Disney Oak Trail - A nine hole course that is perfect for beginners and children a like.  The holes range from 132 to 517 yards from the back tees.

Disney Osprey Ridge - This course is cut through some of the most dens forest on the Disney resort property.  It has dramatic fairways with splendour wilderness.

Disney Lake Buena Vista - A villa themed golf course that winds through pine forests and sparkling lakes.

Some courses have more for experienced golfers but they all will provide a great time for you and your family.  So you and your family can have the cake and eat it too.

La Cala Resort & Spa

Just vacationing in Spain is an event but what about having a holiday to Spain to relax and Golf.  Now that is even in itself.  The La Cala Resort & Spa is a exclusive golf club that caters to Golf enthusiats.  They feature a 18 hole professional championship golf course and an executive only 6 hole par 3 course.  They also have a full service golf academy for those who need a little practice before hitting the courses.  The golf academy features full practice facilities, golf clinics and a 3D Motion Analysis System.  The 3D motion analysis system takes a look at your swing and helps the golfing professionals to recommend how to improve your swing to get more distance.

Once your finished golfing for the day sit back and relax at the newly revealed full service spa or just take a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi or just sit down and let off a few pounds of water weight in the sauna.

For the family their are also other facilities like a game room, floodlit tennis courts, a football pitch, a squash court, outdoor swimming pool and much more.  You will definitly enjoy yourself at this resort.

Thialand Golf Club

Thialand is also a great place to golf.  The Bangkok Golf club in particular is an excellent get away.  The course may be small but the sites are worth it alone.  The fairways are always green and the course has lots of water making it a little more difficult play.

The golf club is a short distance from Bangkok city and is located in the subarbs.  Travelers who are interested in this type of play will also be interested in the aspect of experience Bangkok life that includes sampling the local crusine and meeting some of the locals.

As for play, the 9th hole of this course has a par of 5 and has been rated by Golf Magazine as the top 500 holes in the world.  The golf course is sorrounded by concrete walls.  This is to keep out water that forms during the rain season and flooding.  The Thialand Golf Club is the last remained club in Bangkok that has not been overrun by flooding.

Hawaii Big Island Golf

My last choice for some of the best golfing around the world is golfing on the Big island in Hawaii.  Hawaii has some of the best views in the world.  That goes without saying, but they also have some of the best golf courses in the world also.  Professionals come from near and far to experience the golfing life of Hawaii.  But it is not just the Golf courses.  It is also Hawaii itself.  You can go golfing one day out of the week and also visit the beaches the next or go and see a volcano.  Hawaii has so many side project/activities that someone can do you will never get bored.

One of the best resorts to visit for golfing is the Hualalai Resort at historic Kaupulehu ranks.  This is a very exclusive resort and if you can get an invitation to go please that them up on it, because this golf course is only available to homeowner members and guests of the Kona Village Resort and the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.  All others are not allowed.
